After 20yrs at Erie Insurance, retirement came on Sept 17. They were years filled with plenty of ups and downs. Most of all they were years of developing wonderful relationships both on the street and in the office. I have grown personally and professionally beyond my expectations. I do not care for the "R" word (retirement). It is a word that connotes for me inactivity, sluggishness and too much comfortable living. I want to meet people all over the world and to experience new adventures. Most importantly, however, it will give me more opportunity to visit family: my sons in the midwest, my new grandson CJ who lives in Wisconsin, my mom who lives in San Diego, and other family members who live around this great country.
I plan to do extensive travel. This blog will allow me to create a diary and to share it with family and friends. Hopefully, you will find it interesting and fun to read. Your readership will help me to "live the dream".
